Class 2 worked hard to make and bake cakes to sell in aid of the Marie Curie daffodil day appeal. Well done class 2, they were yummy!
On Friday 16th March the school hosted a Mother’s Day tea for all our wonderful mums, nans and aunties. It was great to see so many able to come and join us. The girls in Years 4, 5 and 6 were able to represent the school in an Urdd Football event on Tuesday 28th February. They tried so hard and were exceptionally well-behaved.
All the children dressed up as their favourite book characters to celebrate World Book day, before taking part in a range of book related activities in school.
On the 15th March, Year 5 and 6 pupils with the support of our Friends of the School, visited Aberystwyth University’s annual science fair. They had an amazing morning visiting the various stands and completed the quiz that went alongside them. We are so lucky to benefit from visiting.
We are so proud of our class. They always roll up their sleeves and get stuck in to making the school grounds a happy and safe environment for us all.
Class 1 have been learning all about Chinese new Year as a part of our topic, ‘What a Wonderful World’.
Class 1 pupils have so many exciting learning opportunities in their classrooms and in their outside area.
As a school we have been taking part in the ‘Bach a Iach’ training. This training will give our pupils some new learning opportunities. We have borrowed a set of circus equipment and have been practicing a whole new range of skills. We have been having lots of fun!
